My vision for this short piece was to compose a sonic build-up leading up to an epic clash between two fiercely rivalled, skilled, dominant, and legendary samurai warriors.

This composition reflects historic Japanese culture by incorporating traditional Japanese sounds, harmonies and precussion providing a cultural sonic backdrop.

I imagine both samurai warriors display immense respect for each another acknowledging, honouring, and respecting the discipline, talent and dedication they both possess inherent of the samurai warrior's culture.

The atmosphere feels tense yet with a disciplined calmness that anticipates spilled blood.

Fate looms as the inevitability of one warrior's demise becomes imminent.

May a samurai's fate be decided....
